Home School Practitioner

The role of the Home School Practitioner is to provide a range of supports for pupils and families to help give everyone the best chance of success at school. This includes:

  • Tracking of school attendance
  • Supporting young people who find attending school extremely challenging
  • Supporting the completition of forms (Free School Meals, Education Maintenence Allowance, Free Bus Travel & Access to other services/benefits)
  • Organise School Uniform bank
  • Arrange Food Parcel and other essential support
  • Sign posting to financial support
  • Supporting young people into positive destinations - employability and college support
  • Signposting to other specific supports (Children & Families, Young Carers, Care Experienced, Bernardos, etc) 

 

We are always in need of uniform items as well as PE kit, school bags, jackets, hats and cloves... so if you have any such items in good condition that are no longer required we would be delighted to receive any donations.
