Through HE, learners in S1 and 2 will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in a varied range of areas including:

• Textiles
• Cookery skills and processes
• Hygiene, Health and Safety
• Nutrition, Nutrients and the Eatwell Guide
• Dietary Diseases
• Food Labelling
• Sustainability

They will then have the opportunity to choose Home Economics and/or Fashion Textile Technology in S3 as a focus subject for 3 periods per week to develop skills further in preparation for the senior phase.

Senior Phase (S4 - S6)

• In the senior Phase students are offered the opportunity to study the following courses:
• Hospitality: Practical Cookery (N3/N4/N5/H)
• Health and Food Technology (N5/H)
• Fashion Textile Technology (N5/H)
• Childcare (Level 5)
• Barista (Level 5)
