Dear Parents and Carers

The information below (see links) contains an important update from Midlothian Council in relation to the Equipped for Leaning programme and your child being provided with a Chromebook device.

Initially the devices will be rolled out to S4, S5 and S6 pupils.

Devices will be deployed for these year groups only in the week beginning 8 November 2021. Further communication will follow at the point of rolling devices to S1, S2 and S3.

The information below also contains an online acknowledgement form that must be completed before your child can receive their Chromebook.

The form should be completed by Friday 5 November 2021. 

If you have more than one child in S4-6, we need you to complete a form for each child. You will also need your son or daughter's Midlothian username (This takes the format of the first 5 letters of your child's surname, their first initial and two randomly-allocated digits).

Previously loaned Chromebooks, supplied by Midlothian Council through lockdown, should be returned to school to ensure all pupils receive the same device.
